Am I Eligible Play for PYL?

To be eligible to play for Portsmouth Youth Lacrosse, your player must:

1. Reside in one of the following Zip Codes:
Portsmouth (02871), Tiverton (02878), Little Compton (02837), Westport, MA (02790), Bristol (02720), Fall River (02721, 02722, 02723, 02724, 02725), or Somerset, MA (02726).

2. Attend one of the private schools located in Portsmouth, RI:
The Pennfield School or Saint Philomena School.

*PYL players can play for both their Pennfield or St. Phil's lacrosse teams as coaches work to deconflict practices and games for those players.

3. Receive a 'Zip Code Waiver':

- Players that wish to play for the Portsmouth Youth Lacrosse program, but who don't meet one of the requirements above, can file a Waiver Request through the Rhode Island Youth Lacrosse League (RIYLL).

- When registering for PYL programs, there is an option to "request a zip code waiver". A PYL representative will reach out to help complete and file that waiver request.
